Something I Learned Today

This morning I made smoothies for breakfast: banana, frozen blueberries, frozen mango chunks, almond milk, soy protein powder, agave nectar, and - get this - frozen spinach and cauliflower!  I know, yuck, right?  Wrong!  It was totally good and you couldn't even taste the veggies.  And lest you think I'm simply delusional from the lack of caffeine, I'll add this little bit of info: even Evan liked it.  So there.

  1. What inspired you to throw the veggies in?

  2. I got the idea from the book, but didn't totally believe it was true until I tried it.

  3. That would be interesting to see what that smoothie looked like. Greenish? I think I'd have more of aproblem with the color than the veggies. ;-) Cauliflower has such a mild taste...I could see how that, plus the spinach wouldn't be that bad.

  4. The color was sort of a purple-gray (only tiny flecks of green). There were a lot of blueberries. :-)
